My first Springer, Vinny, came into my life in 2001 from my friend Barbra Spaude.  Her Bitch, Unlimitied Class UDX, SH call name of Sarha Jane was an outstanding represntation of the breed and had such biddablitily that I told her at training class one night, "if you ever breed her, I want one."  It was from this bitch that I got my beautiful boy Vinny.   Tragically I lost Vinny at the young age of 2.5 years when he got out of the van, chased a rabbit and was hit by a car.  It was from this tragic loss that I aquired my kennel name.  After the lose of Vinny I fell into a deep funk and it was during one long, dark, lonely night without Vinny, that it came to me.  Vinny would.  Vinny would have wanted me to move on.  Vinny would have wanted me to get another dog.  Vinny Would.  VinEwood.  That was truly what he was all about.  Vinny would do anything I asked of him.  In honor of that spirit that  Vinny possesed I was blessed with my kennel name.  Vin E Wood.
